Growing up in Oregon, some of my closest experiences with God were in the beauty of creation. From sitting on a huge rock off the coast of the Pacific Ocean with the spray of waves all around me, to driving out into the seclusion of the back lumber truck roads, I markedly knew His presence and smile on me as I sought Him.

I think many of God’s favorite sanctuaries are without walls! So many people think of their Creator as far away or unapproachable…but that’s just not true!
